Training twice a week is the most economical way to learn Krav Maga. Classes are suitable for men and women of all ages (16+) and fitness levels. You will also get a great cardio workout in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
In these classes you will learn Krav Maga's practical, simple and reality-based
approach to self defence. Krav Maga was specifically developed in the Special Forces
of the Israeli Army for combat in real situations, and for training people to achieve a relatively high level of proficiency in a short time. After your first lesson, you will have already gained some useful tools that you will be able to use to effectively defend yourself.
Some of the topics covered include:
" Combatives (punching, kicking, etc.) and fighting skills.
" Defending common attacks (chokes, bear-hugs, etc.)
" Defending against an armed or unarmed attacker (sticks, clubs, knives, guns).
" Defending and fighting on the ground, in a confined space, and other environments.
" Utilising skills in a variety of situations, e.g. when caught by surprise and under pressure (scenario and pressure training).
Classes are held in a friendly and laid back, no-ego atmosphere. Our classes are very diverse with students ranging from ages 16 to late 40's, Police Officers, accountants, mums, university students and so on. We have students who have been training in martial arts their entire lives, and students who have literally never stepped foot in a gym or a dojo before. You are guaranteed to find your place
